What is the draft mode and how do I use it?

The draft mode allows you to prepare your event at your own pace without showing it to visitors until you are ready to publish.

What this means in practice:

  • An event in draft mode is visible only to you in your organizer dashboard.
  • You can fill in your event step by step: title, description, agenda, speakers, venue, tickets, etc., then save everything as a draft and come back to edit it later.
  • All data in the draft can be freely edited: text, dates, images and other settings.

How to enable draft mode:

  • When you fill in the event form, the draft mode is disabled by default.
  • To enable it, tick the “Draft?” checkbox.
  • As long as the “Draft?” checkbox is selected, the event will not appear in search on events.syampya.com, nor in collections and recommendations.
  • Once you remove the tick from the “Draft?” checkbox, the event becomes visible to visitors in the main list and can be included in collections and recommendations.

Important: draft mode is a safe space for preparation. You can create multiple drafts, try different formats and structures without worrying about showing an “unfinished” event to your audience.
