On October 22, 2026, organizers of AccessAbilities Expo 2026 announced the results of the exhibition's eighth edition, which concluded on October 21 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai.

The three-day event brought together technology innovators, rehabilitation specialists, healthcare professionals, government representatives and organizations working to improve accessibility and inclusion.

According to organizers, the exhibition attracted more than 18,000 visitors from 70 countries, while approximately 240 companies, brands and specialized centres from 50 countries presented their technologies and services.

The exhibition focused on next-generation assistive technologies, artificial intelligence, accessible mobility, rehabilitation equipment and solutions designed to support greater independence for people with disabilities.

Participating organizations demonstrated innovations intended to improve accessibility across public infrastructure, transportation, education, healthcare and everyday environments.

The event also facilitated international business cooperation, with exhibitors reporting new commercial agreements, joint ventures and product development partnerships. Several government entities signed memoranda of understanding.

Beyond technological innovation, AccessAbilities Expo highlights the growing importance of accessibility as a central consideration in the planning and delivery of public events.

For the international events industry, the exhibition reinforces the need to integrate inclusive venue design, accessible visitor experiences and assistive technologies into event infrastructure.

The event also demonstrates how specialized exhibitions can connect technological innovation with social impact, public policy and international commercial partnerships.

Organizers confirmed that the ninth edition will take place on October 25–27, 2027.
