The 18th UN Tourism/PATA Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook will take place in Guilin, China, from October 19–21 under the theme “The Next Frontier: Travel Trends in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” Announced on October 6, the programme will bring together tourism officials, academics, technology companies and private-sector leaders to examine AI, tourism data, evolving traveller behaviour and market trends across Asia-Pacific. The agenda signals how rapidly AI is moving from an experimental technology into a strategic issue for destinations and the wider visitor economy.
