UK Event Venues Announce New Crowd Safety Partnership

On October 26, 2026, the Association of Event Venues (AEV) announced a new partnership with Showsec International, a British specialist in event security and crowd management.

The collaboration aims to strengthen safety practices across the UK's exhibition, conference and live entertainment venues.

Showsec brings more than 45 years of industry experience, providing security services to major arenas, concert venues, festivals and international sporting events.

Under the agreement, the company will contribute professional expertise through industry webinars and participation in the AEV security focus group.

The initiative will support knowledge sharing between venue operators and security professionals, helping the industry address evolving crowd management challenges.

For event organizers, the partnership reinforces the importance of integrating professional security expertise into venue operations, visitor management and event planning.

It also demonstrates how industry associations can facilitate cooperation between specialized service providers and event venues.
