On October 12, 2026, SHRM MENA announced that its Annual Conference & Expo 2026 will take place under the patronage of the UAE's Federal Authority for Government Human Resources. The event is scheduled for December 15–17 at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
A major addition to this year's programme is the region's first HR + AI Lab, an interactive experience designed to demonstrate practical applications of artificial intelligence in recruitment, workforce planning, talent development and employee engagement.
The conference will bring together thousands of HR professionals, technology specialists, business executives and government representatives. Alongside keynote presentations and panel discussions, the programme will feature workshops, masterclasses, technology exhibitions and networking opportunities. The event will conclude with the SHRM STAR Awards on December 17.
The initiative demonstrates how professional conferences are increasingly integrating hands-on technology laboratories and experiential learning formats to deliver practical value beyond traditional presentations.
