On October 28, 2026, global exhibition organizer Informa Markets announced the debut of The Festival of Connoisseurs, scheduled for November 4–6 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
The exhibition will showcase luxury industries, including superyachts, supercars, fine jewellery, private aviation, premium travel and art.
The event is the first international flagship exhibition supported under Hong Kong's new government funding initiative, which allocates HK$100 million to attract major international exhibitions.
Its innovative City-as-your-showroom concept extends beyond traditional exhibition halls, connecting AsiaWorld-Expo with Victoria Harbour and the Lantau Yacht Club through complementary public experiences.
For the international events industry, the initiative demonstrates how government investment, destination marketing and experiential exhibition formats can work together to attract international buyers, premium brands and business travellers.
