On October 30, 2026, the third World Culture Festival Karachi 2026 began its main programme, bringing together artists from approximately 150 countries for 25 days of international cultural activities.

Organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, the festival features music, theatre, dance, cinema and visual arts, with more than 1,000 international artists expected to participate.

Organizers reported an expansion to 72 international partners, while the film programme will screen more than 80 productions selected from approximately 6,000 submissions.

The festival also includes discussions about artificial intelligence and the future of creative industries, alongside performances by Grammy-winning musicians and Oscar-nominated artists.

For cultural event organizers, the festival demonstrates how large-scale international programming, institutional partnerships and accessible cultural experiences can strengthen cultural diplomacy and position cities as international creative destinations.
