On November 1, 2026, the Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026 officially welcomed visitors to northeastern Thailand, launching a 134-day international exhibition running until March 14, 2027.
Hosted at Nong Dae Wetland, the expo features 32 international gardens representing 17 countries and two international organizations, alongside more than one million flowering and ornamental plants.
The programme combines sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, horticultural innovation and over 200 cultural performances. Organizers expect approximately 3.6 million visitors and project more than THB 20 billion in economic activity.
For the international events industry, the expo demonstrates how large-scale exhibitions can combine environmental education, destination development and long-term venue investment. Thailand also plans to develop the site into a permanent public and exhibition destination after the event.
